Political Features
- Location: A long narrow country in South America, with a maximum width of 110 miles (~178 Km).
- Neighbouring Countries: Peru and Bolivia (North), and Argentina (East).
- Bordered by the Pacific Ocean on the West.

- Landforms: Arranged as three parallel north–south units: the Andes Mountains (longest mountain chain in the world) to the east; the intermediate depression or longitudinal valley, in the center; and the coastal ranges to the west.
