National Agriculture Market (E-NAM)

The eNAM is a Central Sector scheme creating a unified national market by linking APMC mandis electronically, funded through the Agri-Tech Infrastructure Fund and implemented by SFAC.

  • eNAM is a pan-India electronic trading portal which networks the existing Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) mandis to create a unified national market for agricultural commodities.
  • Type: Central Sector scheme
  • Source of funding: Agri-Tech Infrastructure Fund (AITF)
  • Nodal Implementing agency: Small Farmers Agribusiness Consortium (SFAC) 
  • Platform of Platforms (POP):
    • It is an integration of platforms of various service providers (refer to the infographics).  
    •  It facilitates farmers to sell the produce outside their state borders.
  • Facilitates trade through e-NWR (Negotiable Warehouse Receipt)
