Prohibition Measures
- High Security Zone Restrictions
- All forms of photography and videography, including the creation of social media reels, are banned within the main premises of the Supreme Court, designated as a high security zone.
- Only official use of equipment such as cameras, tripods, and selfie-sticks is permitted in these areas.
- Designated Areas for Media
- Media personnel are instructed to conduct interviews and live broadcasts in the designated lawn area, which is a low security zone.
Consequences for Violations
- For Advocates, Litigants, Interns, and Law Clerks
- Any violations will lead to appropriate action by the concerned Bar Association or State Bar Council in accordance with their rules and regulations.
- For Media Personnel
- Access could be restricted for up to one month for violations within the high security zone.
- For Staff and Registry
- Violations will be viewed seriously, and disciplinary actions may be requested from the respective department heads.
Enforcement
The security personnel have the authority to prevent any individual, including staff members and advocates, from taking photographs or making videos inside the high security zone.
