The year 2025 marks a decade since the world embarked on the journey of implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. Over the past ten years, the SDGs have guided global and national policy agendas, encouraging governments and institutions to integrate sustainability into economic and social development. Yet, this period has also been marked by disruptions such as the COVID-19 pandemic, climate emergencies, geopolitical tensions, and economic inequalities, which have collectively slowed progress toward achieving these goals.
