About Srimanta Sankaradev:
- 15th-century saint-reformer, Born in Aali-pukhuri situated in Nagaon district of Assam.
- Pioneer of the Ekasarana Dharma, a Neo-Vaishnavite movement emphasizing devotion to Lord Krishna.
Contributions:
- Kirtana Ghosha: A devotional scripture composed in Assamese, focusing on the glorification of Lord Krishna.
- Gunamala: A condensed version of the Bhagavata Purana.
- Ankiya Naat: A form of one-act play combining dance, music, and storytelling.
