- Number of women officers in India has increased from ~3,000 in 2014 to over 11,000.

- Permanent Commission granted to women in 12 Arms and Services in Indian Army.
- Women admitted to National Defence Academy (NDA) from 2022.
- 10% seats reserved for girls in Sainik Schools from 2021-22.
- Women inducted into fighter pilot streams and combat roles in the Indian Air Force.
