Recently, Ranthambhore has witnessed three fatal tiger attacks within a small radius, raising concerns over tiger management and human safety in the area.

- April 16: Tigress Kankati killed a 7-year-old boy at the Ganesh temple.
- May 11: Kankati and her male sibling killed Range Officer Devendra Singh.
Technical Committee's Role and Recommendations
Following the second attack, a technical committee was formed to address the situation.
- The committee recommended relocating tigress Arrowhead’s three sub-adult cubs, who had become habituated to humans.
- Kankati was tranquilized and placed in an enclosure, but her siblings were not immediately managed.
