India and Nicaragua signed an umbrella agreement to implement Quick Impact Projects (QIPs).
Political Features
- Location: Situated in Central America and largest of the Central American republics.
- Borders: Nicaragua is bounded by Honduras to the north, the Caribbean Sea to the east, Costa Rica to the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the west.
- Membership: It is a member of the Central American Integration System (SICA), Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), WTO, etc.

- Climate: Slightly cooler and much wetter in the east than in the west.
- Major Lakes: Lago de Nicaragua and Lago de Managua.
- Major Rivers: Negro, Tero Real, the Tamarindo, etc.
