  • Features: Low entry cost, perception management of winning or losing a war, psychological manipulation of public, etc.
    • Traditional intelligence systems often struggle to detect these threats.

  • India’s Shortcomings: India’s approach to information warfare is largely reactive, focusing on deterrence, defense, and fact-checking rather than proactive engagement.
