Prime Minister's Visits to the UK and Maldives

Prime Minister of India is scheduled for a two-day visit to the United Kingdom on July 23-24, focusing on enhancing bilateral trade and signing the India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in London.

  • Objectives:
    • Increase bilateral trade.
    • Strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) with a focus on key areas such as trade and economy, technology and innovation, defense and security, climate, health, education, and people-to-people ties.

Visit to the Maldives

  • Following the UK visit, the PM will travel to the Maldives on July 25 and 26.
  • The leaders will discuss and review the progress of the 'Comprehensive Economic and Maritime Security Partnership’.

Nepal Prime Minister's Upcoming Visit to India

  • Nepal's Foreign Ministry announced that the prime minister of Nepal will undertake an official visit to India in mid-September, starting on September 16.
