Ultra-Supercritical Thermal Power Plant Launch in Assam
Project Overview
On September 20, 2026, Assam Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the Adani Group’s Ultra-Supercritical Thermal Power Plant in Chapar, Dhubri district. This plant, managed by Adani Power Limited, will be the largest in the northeast, with a capacity of 3,200 megawatts and a project cost of ₹48,000 crore.
