Key Highlights of the Report
- Record Launches: Year 2025 witnessed 315 out of 328 successful launch attempts placing 4198 known operational satellites.

- Blue Ghost Mission 1 became first privately owned spacecraft to successfully soft land on Moon.

Indian Space Scenario (by End of 2025)
- Spacecraft: 144 including those from private operators/academic institutions launched.
- GSLV-F15/NVS-02 (marked 100th launch of an Indian Launch Vehicle from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota).
- Number of operational satellites owned by Government was 22 in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and 31 in Geo-synchronous Earth Orbit (GEO).
- Active Deep Space Missions: Chandrayaan-2 Orbiter (CH2O) and Aditya-L1.
- Key Milestones: SpaDeX mission; Voyage of Indian astronaut, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla commanding private Axiom 4 crewed mission to International Space Station.
