An endorheic lake, also known as an inland basin, is a lake that has no outlet to the sea. Water leaves only through evaporation. Endorheic salt lakes typically form in arid or semi-arid regions where evaporation exceeds precipitation and inflow, leading to a buildup of dissolved salts.
